A major development has surfaced in the Boston Bruins trading a goaltender to the Edmonton Oilers

The Boston Bruins had an underwhelming 2024/25 NHL season to say the least, as they completed their campaign in the league's basement.

And in hopes to turn the organization's standings around, this Original Six franchise called a retool, and since, the team acquired, departed, and re-signed plenty of Bruins.

However, the moves they have completed thus far have been argued to not be enough to become bigger enough contenders for next season.

With that being said, some major moves still need to erupt in Boston.

With all being said, the Boston Bruins luckily have some trading assets left on their roster that they can depart with this summer.

One area the Boston Bruins are currently loaded in is in net.

At the moment, the organization currently has three NHL level netminders on their roster, and luckily enough, there is one organization that has been speculated to be in need of one.

That organization is the Edmonton Oilers.

The Oilers have been linked to be seeking a new goaltender for some time now, and a recent report was made on social media, via «X», unveiling that the likelihood of a move erupting in net this summer is highly likely.
