The Boston Bruins have been known to fire some really good head coaches, and they did just that this year whenever they fired Jim Montgomery after just being the head coach for two years.

Montgomery was the head coach when the Boston Bruins set a new NHL record for most wins in a single season during the 2023-24 season, and it didn't take him long to find a new job, as he was hired as head coach of the St. Louis Blues just six days later.

The St. Louis Blues are now about to make the playoffs this year while the Boston Bruins are one of the bottom teams in the league.

In 2023, the Boston Bruins fired Bruce Cassidy who was a great head coach as well, and he was hired by the Vegas Golden Knights.

During his first season with the Golden Knights, Cassidy ended up leading them to a Stanley Cup Championship.

Now a recent announcement proved that Don Sweeney might have made a terrible choice.

The Vegas Golden Knights have won the Pacific Division Title for the fourth time in their eight years, and a lot of that goes out to Bruce Cassidy.

Since being the head coach of the Vegas Golden Knights, the team has been scary and always find a way to make it to the playoffs despite always dealing with injuries.
