Leading up to their second last game of the season, the Boston Bruins have healthy scratched an unexpected forward.

Today, the Boston Bruins will be playing in their second last game of the season against the Pittsburgh Penguins and it was revealed that an unexpected forward is going to watching from the press box.
Heading into their last game, the Boston Bruins ended up healthy scratching Jakub Lauko so that Riley Duran could make his NHL debut with the organization.
Now it's been revealed that Jakub Lauko will be slotted back into the lineup, and an unexpected forward will be coming out.

Bruins Healthy Scratch An Unexpected Forward

According to NESN, the Boston Bruins are going to be healthy scratching Vinni Lettieri for today's game, and Jakub Lauko will be coming back into the lineup.
This comes as a surprise, as the Boston Bruins are actually allowing their prospects to stay in the lineup, instead of pulling them out every other game like they were doing earlier in the year.
It's also surprising that Joe Sacco did not healthy scratch someone like Duran, Minten, or Lysell to allow Lettieri to stay in the lineup.
But it seems like the Bruins are finally realizing that these players are only going to develop if they are given the opportunity, and it's nice to see the Bruins actually do that.
Here are the Bruins projected lines:
