Leading up to their game tonight between the Boston Bruins and Ottawa Senators, a major signing was announced.
This morning, the Ottawa Senators announced that they have agreed to terms with a key player.
Elliotte Friedman, along with many other insiders confirmed that the Senators and Shane Pinto came to terms on a contract.
According to reports, Pinto signed a 4-year contract extension with the Senators, with an AAV of $7.5 million.

Despite this news, the Senators are also going to be without a key player tonight.
With the Bruins travelling to Ottawa tonight for their third meeting in two weeks, it was announced that the Senators are going to be without key defenseman Thomas Chabot.
