Roster changes ahead of Bruins-Senators game: A key player will not play
According to a recent report, a key player will not play tonight in the game between the Ottawa Senators and Boston Bruins.
The Senators and
Bruins are facing off for the third time in just a couple of weeks tonight, and it was just announced that a key player will not be in the lineup.
On October 27th, the Bruins and Senators faced off for the first time this season, where Ottawa came out on top after dominating the Bruins in a 7-2 win.
Since then, the Bruins have gone on a seven-game winning streak, even defeating the Senators in their next meeting.
Boston ended up getting payback against the
Senators in their second matchup, winning the game 3-2 in overtime.
Now they are getting prepared to face the Senators for the third time in two weeks.
Ahead of their game, it was announced that the Ottawa Senators will be without a key player in the lineup.
Chabot will not play for the Senators
This morning, an announcement confirmed that
Thomas Chabot will be out for the Senators tonight.
Losing
Chabot is a big loss. This season he has been really good for the Sens, scoring 2 goals and 8 assists for 10 points in 17 games.
Along with that, it was also announced that Merilainen will start in net tonight, and
Kurtis MacDermid will also play tonight.

In their last meeting, MacDermid tried to challenge
Nikita Zadorov to a fight, and it will be interesting to see if anything happens tonight between the two.
The Bruins are looking to win their eighth game in a row tonight against the Senators.
