The Boston Bruins' Jeremy Swayman has been involved in a handful of speculations that suggest he may be on his way out of Boston this offseason, however, things may have just taken a turn for the better for this net-minder.

Boston's fan-base has had it with the Bruins' position in the NHL as of recently, from being a contending team with a bright future, to no sight of postseason contention, they are becoming desperate.
With that being said, fans have begun pointing finger's to the Bruins' net-minder, Swayman, believing the 26-year old may just be the problem, leading them to insist on possibly acquiring a new net-minder.
Another key factor in this development of Jeremy Swayman's potential departure from the Boston Bruins organization is goaltender Michael DePietro with the AHL's Providence Bruins, who is making a strong case to take over a goaltending roll in the NHL.
But according to his recent gameplay alongside a report from NESN, it appears that this goaltender is using this mess of a Bruins season as fuel to the fire for a big bounce back in the 2025/26 NHL season.
«I think Jeremy Swayman is going to look back at the '24-25 season and say, 'This was a massive learning experience for me,'» Sirott said. «From start to finish, and the way that he is ending, and who knows how many more times we're going to see him but to go here in April with a .919 save percentage, the way he's played, the stops he's made, how calm he's been in net is a very good sign for the Bruins to enter the offseason.»

Another key factor to Swayman's possible departure from the Bruins is the fact that he has been left out to dry by his teammates due to the recent trades general manager, Don Sweeney, made.
He continued:
«And the play in front of him compounds the issue because the Bruins didn't have what they usually have - great layers defensively, good decision-making without the puck, good strength down the middle. They had some injuries on the back. All that stuff was working against Swayman. So, you hope that the learning process was a successful one. And the only way we'll find out is his performance come next September, October.»

Don Sweeney is reportedly in the works to making a massive retool of this Bruins roster, and if another layer of defence is acquired as it should be, Swayman is deemed to appreciate the organization and be there starting goaltender come opening night of next season.
