A new report has revealed several under-the-radar head coaching candidates who have been linked to the Bruins

A recent report has revealed several potential head coaching candidates who don't have head-coaching experience in the NHL, but have been linked to the Boston Bruins organization.

The Boston Bruins' general manager, Don Sweeney and the organization have plenty of work to do this offseason and to start things off, the team is in dire need to identify what head coach will be replacing their current interim head coach, Joe Sacco.
The Boston Bruins have no shortage of options for this summer, especially when it comes to head-coaching candidates who already have incredible resumes with plenty of experience behind the bench as an NHL head coach.
And although some big names are no longer available, several experienced coaches are still available on the open market, including Rick Tocchet, Gerard Gallant, Peter Laviolette, John Tortorella, Jay Woodcroft, and David Quinn.
That being said, the Boston Bruins are in desperate need of a turnaround campaign for the 2025/26 NHL season, and they could be tempted by adding a fresher voice behind the bench, one that could revamp Boston's system and grow their re-tool.
As the Bruins continue to assess their options, here are eight head-coaching candidates for the team who have not yet held a post as a full-time NHL head coach yet.

Although it is uncertain whether or not the Boston Bruins organization will be tempted by a head-coach will no NHL experience, plenty of these candidates names have been in the rumour mill for Boston.
