Trusted NHL insider comments on the Boston Bruins completing a massive blockbuster trade this off-season
A trusted NHL insider has unveiled that a potential blockbuster trade is underway for the Boston Bruins organization this offseason, and it is surprising.
The Boston Bruins' top goal this off-season is suggested to be focusing on their offensive group, especially following their brutal 2024/25 NHL season that concluded in the organization trading away multiple forwards, such as
Brad Marchand,
Charlie Coyle,
Trent Frederic, and
Justin Brazeau.
However, one specific player, who continues to create chatter within the rumour mill is Minnesota Wild forward,
Marco Rossi, who is a potential trade candidate summer.
And if Rossi is officially made available this offseason by the Wild, the Bruins should seriously consider making a push for him.
Rossi had an immensely impactful campaign for Minnesota this season, posting new career highs for himself as he accumulated 24 goals, 36 assists, and 60 points in just 82 games.
With numbers like these, this center would be able to offer the Bruins a top six down the middle and easily give the team's offence a boost.
Not only could he give the team a significantly boost down the middle, this pending restricted free agent would also be a great option for the Bruins' power play, due to his playmaking ability.
Another great aspect to this forward is that he is still only 23-years old, meaning he could potentially hit another level of skill, which should make him extremely intriguing to the organization who is looking for young and impactful players.
The Bruins undoubtedly need help offensively, especially at center, and with Rossi blossoming into a high-impact player, Boston should make a push for the 2020 ninth-overall pick.
