A shocking report was just made regarding Maple Leafs star Mitch Marner and the Boston Bruins

It seems like the Boston Bruins may not be as in on Mitch Marner as many have speculated during the off-season.

Throughout the year, there was a lot of speculation that the Boston Bruins were going to be in on Mitch Marner if he decided to leave the Toronto Maple Leafs.

With Marner's comments during their end of season press conference, it seemed like it was a guarantee that Marner was not sticking around for another season with the Leafs, but recent reports revealed that they may not be as in as many thought.

NHL insider Frank Seravalli has revealed two teams that are top candidates to land Mitch Marner this off-season.

Frank Seravalli of the Daily Faceoff revealed that the Anaheim Ducks are going to be a top candidate to land Marner in the off-season and they would be willing to pay top dollar for him.

Another team that makes sense to land Marner is the Vegas Golden Knights.

Even thought the Boston Bruins were surrounded in the Marner rumours this off-season, it doesn't seem like he is likely to sign there according to these reports.

The Bruins need secondary scoring, but also need help down the middle, and will more then likely target a big named center this off-season rather than a winger.
