This morning the Boston Bruins received some big news as a surprising player was present at practice following injury news.
The past couple of games have been a big struggle for the Boston Bruins, and they are currently on a four game losing streak after losing to the Washington Capitals, New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, and the New York Islanders, but this morning the Bruins received some news that could change things for the team going forward.
Since blocking a shot and fracturing his knee against the St. Louis Blues on November 12th,
Hampus Lindholm finally skated for the first time this morning at the Bruins morning skate.

He's been out since mid November with a lower body injury.
Lindholm was originally given a six week timeline to return to the Boston Bruins lineup, but it's been close to two months and he is just now skating for the first time.
Hampus Lindholm has missed the last 25 games since getting hurt. Before then, there was an argument to be made he had been the best and most consistent player for the #NHLBruins. Skating for, assumably, the first time today, is a significant step toward a return.
Before being injured, Lindholm was one of the Bruins best and most consistent players on the ice, and was having a great bounce back after having a very down year during the 2023-24 season.
Right now it's a tight race in the Eastern Conference, and the Bruins are not gaurenteed a playoff spot this year. Getting Lindholm back sooner then later would go a long way for the Boston Bruins.
