Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney has been pretty busy the past two days following the NHL draft.

Yesterday Don Sweeney announced the signings of both Marat Khusnutdinov, and Michael Callahan.
Later in the night it was rumored that Morgan Geekie was going to be signing a contract extension with the Boston Bruins as well.
Not long after that came out, it was revealed that the Bruins signed Geekie to a six-year, $5.5 million contract extension.

Bruins make a goaltending move

Despite all the rumors surrounding one of Boston Bruins top goaltending prospects in Michael DiPietro, they have made a surprising move with him today.
There was a lot of speculation that DiPietro was going to be leaving the Bruins organization in free agency, as he was drawing a lot of attention from teams around the league.
Well that isn't going to be happening, as Don Sweeney just announced that him, and two other players have re-signed with the Boston Bruins.
Jokiharju re-signed for another three-years, with a cap hit of $3 million. John Beecher also re-signed on a one-year deal with a cap hit of $900,000.
DiPietro surprisingly signed for two-years after all the speculation around him with a cap hit of $812,500.
With this move being made, it will be interesting to see if the Boston Bruins end up trading one of Swayman, or Korpisalo.
After the Boston Bruins missed out Dante Fabbro, there aren't many other options for them on the right side, and you just felt like a deal was coming.
