Following the Bruins' underwhelming 2024/25 NHL season, Boston fans began to doubt the organization's future, especially within the net.
As Boston Bruins' starting net-minder, Jeremy Swayman, did not perform up to the expectations that were once held over his head.
However, despite Swayman's record hitting a decline, there was certainly a silver-lining with the Providence Bruins' goaltending situation in the AHL, as Michael DiPietro showed up to play.
DiPietro earned the AHL's honors of 'player of the month' on multiple occasions, proving he has what it takes to make the leap in the NHL.
However, new insight has unveiled that Don Sweeney may just be making another Linus Ullmark mistake in Boston.
