The McAvoy-Lohrei pair has been a big problem for the Bruins so far, but it's clear that McAvoy has been weighting down Lohrei to start the season.
Facing off against the Colorado Avalanche, the Bruins split this pairing up, and Lohrei had a career game.
Last night, for some reason, they ended up putting the pair back together, and they once again looked terrible.
With the Bruins losing the game, Sturm made some mid-game changes, once again splitting up the McAvoy-Lohrei pairing.

If McAvoy continues to play like this, the Bruins may have no choice but to demote him lines, and take away some of his playing time.
