Announcement: Boston Bruins running out of time to trade $66M player and we have a date
The 2024-25 season was a real struggle for the Boston Bruins, and now there are some question marks around Jeremy Swayman's future with the organization.
If the Boston Bruins do not want to dump his deal, they need him to have a bounce back season.
This season will be a make or break for Jeremy Swayman, especially considering the fact that he has a full no-move clause entering the 2026-27 season.
So if the Boston Bruins feel like he will not come back to form, they will move him in the next couple of months.
Swayman has to convince the Boston Bruins he's back to form
Swayman struggled badly. Throughout the year he posted a 3.11 goals against average along with a .892 save percentage.
The Bruins defense and offense did not help him out much, but Swayman didn't help out his own case either.
Late into the season, things got ugly with Swayman finishing the year with a 2-8-1 record in his final 11 starts. In seven of those games, he ended up allowing four or more goals.
Fans have been optimistic though, especially considering how Swayman played during the 2025 World Championship. He ended up going undefeated with a .921 SV%, helping Team USA win gold.
Do you think Jeremy Swayman is going to have a bounce back year, or will he get traded?
