Johnny Beecher is at risk of losing his roster spot this upcoming season with the Boston Bruins, and he has commented on how he feels camp is going for him so far.
When Marco Sturm took over as head coach, he stated that no ones roster spot is safe, and Beecher is a player at risk of losing his roster spot this season.
Here's how Beecher feels his camp is going so far:

According to an NHL insider, he believes that a
Boston Bruins player is set to lose his roster spot this season.
Since joining the Boston Bruins during the 2023-24 season, Johnny Beecher has been a regular in the Bruins lineup.
Last season,
Beecher had 10 points in 52 games with the Boston Bruins, not bad, but the Bruins expected much more from the former first-round draft pick.
Beecher ended up appearing in 26 extra games last season from the year before, but only registered one extra point. He is a good penalty killer and faceoff man for the Bruins, but doesn't bring the offensive punch the Bruins were hoping for.
Bruins may have found a player to replace Beecher
On Tuesday, during the Bruins second preseason game of the year, Beecher had the chance to clear that puck out of the zone after stealing the puck, but didn't have the offensive instincts to make a play.
He held the puck for too long, and ended up turning it over at the defensive blueline, leading to a goal.
Michael Eyssimont is one of the players that can make Beecher expendable and send him packing down to Providence. If we're looking at this game in a vacuum, Eyssimont was the reason the Bruins rallied for a three-goal comeback in the third period with two goals and an assist and was a noticeable physical force. Beecher struggled all night and was as invisible as he was for the majority of last season.
There is still some time for Beecher to make a name for himself, but as of right now, things aren't looking good.
