Boston Bruins $54 Million Player Facing Major Demotion From The Organization
Just four days after the NHL trade deadline, the Boston Bruins are set to faceoff against Brad Marchand and his new team, the Florida Panthers.
Marchand, not wearing a non-contact jersey, is skating with Florida's top line at their morning skate in Boston.
Ahead of the game, a Boston Bruins forward is facing a major demotion from the organization.
Elias Lindholm has been on the Bruins top line all season with Brad Marchand, and his play of recent has been picking up, but it looks like the Bruins are not happy with how this season has went for him.
Today at morning practice, Elias Lindholm was seen on the third line with newcomers in
Jakub Lauko, and
Marat Khusnutdinov, a major demotion considering he's spent the majority of the year with Marchand on the top line.
Here are the lines the Bruins were rocking this morning:

This season Lindholm has just 11 goals, and 21 assists for 32 points in 65 games for the Boston Bruins. It's fair to say that he has been disappointing so far.
