After being traded to the Florida Panthers at the NHL trade deadline, Brad Marchand and the Florida Panthers are at TD Garden preparing to take on the Boston Bruins, and head coach Paul Maurice just confirmed if Marchand will play or not.
Brad Marchand and the Boston Bruins could not agree on a contract during the NHL trade deadline, leading to him being traded. Marchand was only interested in joining one team, the Florida Panthers.
Just four days after the trade deadline, the Panthers and Bruins are set to faceoff against each other, and Brad Marchand is on the trip with the Panthers.
Today at practice, head coach Paul Maurice revealed whether or not Marchand is going to faceoff against the team he spent his entire career with since being drafted.

Brad Marchand was injured just before the NHL trade deadline, and is listed as week-to-week. Today he joined the Florida Panthers at TD Garden for practice and was wearing a regular jersey, hinting that he could return soon.
Marchand, not wearing a non-contact jersey, is skating with Florida's top line at their morning skate in Boston.
He also took line rushes with the Panthers and was on a line with Barkov and Verhaeghe.

Paul Maurice confirmed that Brad Marchand will not be playing today against his former team, and still remains week-to-week. They are hopeful that he returns to action before the end of the regular season.
