Boston Bruins and Vancouver Canucks to combine for a trade: A last minute deal may be in the works

The Vancouver Canucks are entering the season with no depth down the middle, and this has lead to trade rumors involving the Boston Bruins, who have multiple centers they are wanting to reportedly move on from.
With the NHL season right around the corner, the Canucks are desperately looking for a second-line center.
This has been a need for the Canucks all off-season long, and has been a big conversation.
"The Canucks will most likely start season without anyone supporting Elias Pettersson up the middle. The lack of depth of the top-six forwards already addressed more than once this offseason."-Stinson
Bruins and Canucks in talks involving Casey Mittelstadt
According to Marshall Stinson of Canucks Daily, the Bruins Canucks could make a trade centering around Casey Mittelstadt.
The reported return would be a 2nd round pick, and Nils Hoglander:
"The rumoured trade would have Nils Hoglander and a 2nd rounder heading to Boston in exchange for Mittelstadt."
The Canucks have been in talks with quite a few teams this off-season, according to Stinson, but nothing has come out of it.
"This isn't the first attempt for the Canucks to acquire a 2nd line center, they have tried several times this offseason but to no avail."
The Canucks currently have no depth up the middle, and acquiring someone like Mittelstadt could be a game changer for them.
This could be the difference between the Canucks making it back to the playoffs, or missing them once again.
