A new trade proposal has emerged this offseason, which would see Boston Bruins forward head to the Vancouver Canucks, and it's shocking.
The Boston Bruins were not the only ones who underwent an extremely disappointing 2024/25 NHL campaign, as the Vancouver Canucks were in a very similar spot to Boston.
Given the outcome of last campaign, the Boston Bruins, as well as the Vancouver Canucks have some moves to make.
That being said, reporter Michael DeRosa of Heavy.com, unveiled a potential trade that could erupt this offseason, which would undoubtedly offer both of these teams a boost.

DeRosa reveals that the Penguins could use another skilled center, and due to that, Heavy.com unveiled Boston Bruins' Casey Mittelstadt is a good option.

Despite Mittelstadt just being acquired by the Boston Bruins from the Colorado Avalanche this year during the NHL trade deadline that took place in March, questions regarding his future within Boston have already come up.
It is understandable as to why, due to the fact the Bruins are currently re-tooling, and Mittelstadt has the potential to get Boston a solid return in a trade.
In his latest NHL Trade Board for Bleacher Report, Lyle Richardson ranked Mittelstadt at the No. 2 spot.
«It's unlikely the Bruins will move Mittelstadt or Zacha without getting a decent forward in return, as it would deplete their top-six forward lines,» Richardson wrote. «However, they could hit the trade block if the Bruins struggle to bounce back from last year's disappointing season.»
