Boston Bruins announce a new role for Boston Bruins forward Fraser Minten

Last night during their opening game against the Washington Capitals, it became apparent that Fraser Minten has a new role with the Boston Bruins organization.
Before the game began, the Boston Bruins ended up making a big change, announcing a
new alternate captain.
In the morning, the
Boston Bruins made an announcement on X, revealing that
Hampus Lindholm was going to wear the third "A" on his chest for the Bruins.
During their game against the Washington Capitals, the Bruins found themselves in a bunch of penalty trouble.
Boston ended up taking five penalties during the game, thankfully they didn't end up giving up a goal, but five penalties is way too much.
Minten trusted on the penalty kill
Marco Sturm ended up playing Fraser Minten the most when they were shorthanded, with
Minten being on the ice for (3:58).
Following the game, Sturm stated that he is one of the best penalty killers on the Boston Bruins, and there is a good chance that this is a big role he is going to be given every game.

Marco Sturm after the game said he's "already one of my better killers," but did note he needs to improve on faceoffs (Minten was 0-4 on PK draws).
Boston ended up going on to beat the Washington Capitals 3-1 in their season opener, and are now preparing to faceoff against the Chicago Blackhawks for their home opener tonight.
