Trade completed by Don Sweeney: It was just thrown back in his face
At the NHL trade deadline, the Boston Bruins ended up selling a bunch of players, and now one trade is being thrown in Don Sweeney's face.
The Boston Bruins were a bottom of the barrel team last season, finishing 28th in the league, and it caused them to be sellers.
Now one of those trades is starting to look like a big mistake.
Justin Brazeau looks good with the Penguins
In the opening night of the NHL season, the Pittsburgh Penguins shocked everyone when they defeated the New York Rangers 3-0 in Madison Square Garden.
The only goal that
Igor Shesterkin ended up letting in all game was from former Boston Bruin forward Justin Brazeau whenever he showed off his hands in tight.
Evgeni Malkin with the aggressive face-off win finds Justin Brazeau in front for the goal 👀🔥
Sources say #mnwild are acquiring Justin Brazeau from #NHLBruins in a deal involving Marat Khustnidinov and Jakub Lauko.
Brazeau wasn't finished their either. The Penguins were trying to get Silovs his first career shutout, when Malkin ended up springing Brazeau in on a breakaway for an empty net goal.
Brazeau is showing a lot of potential with the Penguins, and is actually being given a chance to show what he's got by being placed in the top-six.
The Bruins kick off their season opener today against the Washington Capitals.
