Boston Bruins reveal official roster for opening night game: Three notable names missing

Tonight, the Boston Bruins are opening their season against the Washington Capitals and they have officially revealed their roster with three notable names missing.
Ahead of the season, there were a lot of question marks surrounding the Boston Bruins roster, especially after Don Sweeney made some subpar signings in the off-season.
Don Sweeney and the coaching staff made some controversial moves ahead of the beginning of the season by sending some
fan favourites back down to the American Hockey League.
With that being said, the Boston Bruins ended up releasing their official roster following practice this morning.

Scratched: John Beecher, Jeffrey Truchon-Viel, Jordan Harris
All three players will be watching from the press box tonight, and depending on how everyone plays, they may get a chance in game 2 which is happening tomorrow night as the Bruins are playing in a back-to-back.
Jeremy Swayman is slated to guard the crease for the Boston Bruins tonight in the season opener.
