Boston Bruins announce the passing of former Bruins reporter
The Boston Bruins made a sad announcement this morning after finding out about the passing of former Boston Bruins reporter Mike Loftus.
This morning the Boston Bruins announced some tragic news after finding out that former Bruins reporter Mike Loftus has passed away after losing his battle against cancer.
The Boston Bruins are saddened to learn of the passing of longtime Patriot Ledger beat writer Mike Loftus. We offer our thoughts and condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.
Mike Loftus covered the Boston Bruins for 31 years, starting his career covering them in 1989, and ended up announcing his retirement on December 2nd, in 2020.
Loftus only got to enjoy 4 years of retirement before losing his battle to cancer at the age of 65.
Our condolences go out to his family, and friends as they navigate through this tough time.
