Boston Bruins Emerge As Top Landing Spot For Two Former Fan Favourites

The Boston Bruins have emerged as the top landing spot for two former Bruins fan favourite players.
The Chicago Blackhawks had some big hopes coming into the second year of Connor Bedard's career, and made some big moves in the off-season to take strides in their rebuild, but it hasn't gone how they expected it too.
At this year's NHL trade deadline they are set to be once again sellers, and two former Boston Bruins players are expected to be on the move including former Hart Trophy winner in Taylor Hall, and veteran Ryan Donato.
On Wednesday following Blackhawks practice, Taylor Hall spoke to the media and even admitted that he expects to be traded by the organization even though he doesn't want to be.
«I came into this year wanting to be a Blackhawk for years to come. I don't know if that's going to be the case anymore.»
The Blackhawks have revealed that they are looking to get a third-round pick in return for both of these players.
With all the trade rumours going around about where they could possibly land at the NHL trade deadline, Julian Gaudio of The Hockey News revealed five landing spots for the two former Boston Bruins players, and the Bruins were listed as the top landing spot for both.

The B's are treading a fine line between buying or selling this season, but one area they certainly need help with is secondary scoring. The Bruins are quite familiar with what Hall can do, as he posted 20 goals and 61 points with the team in 2021-22, his best season since his MVP year back in 2018. He followed that up with 16 goals in 61 games for Boston the year after, before an injury-plagued season last year in Chicago.
This season, the 33-year-old has just eight goals thus far, but the Bruins can see beyond that.
