Boston Bruins GM Don Sweeney's Job is On The Line As Latest Off-season Move Backfires Tremendously

Don Sweeney made the mistake of letting Jake DeBrusk walk in free-agency and sign in Vancouver, could this cost the GM his job?
Like several other players this off-season, the Boston Bruins lost forward
Jake DeBrusk as he signed with GM Patrik Allvin and the Vancouver Canucks.
Instead of re-signing the free agent, he'd sign a 7-year, $5.5 million deal with the Canucks and be a part of a team who were thought to be playoff contenders.
In 74 games this season he's scored 44 points (24 goals, 20 assists) in what looks to be another miscalculation by Don Sweeney.
The Canucks maybe seven-points out from a playoff spot in the West, but they have
DeBrusk to thank for helping to push the team forward as he's contributed a point in the last five-games for the team.
He's continued to heat up over the last ten games; we've seen him score eight points.
Now, given that DeBrusk was streaky in the Bruins, he of course is on a heater for the Canucks when they need it the most.
Considering this is how well he's played in Vancouver this season, should Sweeney face the blame for letting one of the Bruins' former top-six forwards go?
DeBrusk is another loss in the laundry list of errors and miscalculations by the
Bruins GM, who has fumbled good coaches in the past (Bruce Cassidy, Jim Montgomery), along with failing to build a competitive roster during the offseason.
Letting DeBrusk walk is shameful.
