Boston Bruins prospect has been traded: A deal was just completed

It has been a very slow off-season since free agency has passed, but a recent announcement confirmed that a Boston Bruins prospect is on the move after he was just involved in a trade.
Since free agency, the Boston Bruins haven't really made any moves, and they still haven't, but a recent draft pick of theirs was just traded.
Boston Bruins third round pick traded
The Youngstown Phantoms announced on social media that they combined with Tri-City in order to acquire a Boston Bruins prospect.
Tri-City ended up trading Cooper Simpson, a 2026 Phase 1 7th round pick, and future considerations, in exchange for Brecken Smith, Luca Jarvis, a 2026 Phase 1 4th round pick, 2026 Phase 1 6th round pick, Evan Wanner and future considerations.

The Boston Bruins actually ended up combining for a trade with the Montreal Canadiens during the NHL draft to acquire Simpson.
The Bruins traded pick 69, for Montreal Canadiens 79th overall and 108th overall pick in the draft, and with the 79th overall pick, they ended up drafting Simpson.

During Development Camp, Simpson was one of the players that stood out, and it seems like he has a bright future with the organization.
