Following his season at Cornell University, the Boston Bruins ended up signing Dalton Bancroft to a contract, and he had a statement of a game during his first appearance.

Bancroft ended up going undrafted, but had a solid year at Cornell, which lead to the Boston Bruins handing him a contract.
One major part of Bancroft's game that stood out for the Boston Bruins is his ability to shoot the puck, and he showed that off during his first game with the Bruins.
When playing against the Flyers in the Bruins most recent preseason game, Bancroft showed off his ability to shoot the puck, and ended up scoring two big goals for the Bruins.
Bancroft ended up scoring. both of his goals during the second period, helping the Boston Bruins win the game 4-3 over the Flyers.
Following the game, he ended up issuing a statement on his time so far with the Bruins during camp.
«I've just kind of tried to be a sponge and learn from all the older guys and take in as much as I can,» Bancroft said. «You don't know if you're going to get to this point or not, so it's just been a really cool experience.»

The Boston Bruins signed Bancroft to a one-year, entry-level contract after playing three years at Cornell.
To finish the year last season, he appeared in 5 games with the Providence Bruins where he scored one goal, but is now trying to prove why he should be in the NHL.
The chances of him cracking the Boston Bruins starting roster is not very high.

Bancroft makes it past the first round of roster cuts

He will more than likely begin the season with the Providence Bruins, but he already made it past the first round of roster cuts, so anything can really happen, especially after his performance on Saturday night.
Bruins make their first training-camp cuts:

Joey Abate, Luke Cavallin, Ty Cheveldayoff, Jackson Edward, Colin Felix, Ty Gallagher, Loke Johansson, Jake Schmaltz, Max Wanner and Simon Zajicek will report to Providence Bruins Training Camp.
