Boston Bruins reportedly set to hire a former legend as their next head coach

A new announcement has suggested that the Boston organization has found their new and improved head coach and he just happens to be a former Bruins legend.
The Boston Bruins have hinted and revealed their search for a new head coach to replace Joe Sacco's position several times as of late, and new insight has announced that the team may just acquire a former Boston Bruins Stanley Cup Champion.

The Boston Bruins are reportedly expected to request an interview with former Boston Bruins Stanley Cup Champion Marc Savard.

Marc Savard currently holds the assistant coach position with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and looks as though he may be making his way back to his original roots with his former organization, the Boston Bruins.
Savard completed the remainder of his career with the Bruins (2006-2011), where he achieved a Stanley Cup under his belt when Boston won the finals in the NHL 2010/11 season.
Since tying up his skates, the 47-year old later began his coaching career in the 2019/20 season, where he started as an assistant head coach for the St. Louis Blues, and now is assistant head coach for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Despite all the rumours looming, it is still uncertain of whether or not Boston will offer this former Bruin an interview.
