Boston Bruins to acquire a defenseman: A three player trade may be in the works

With the season coming up, and the Boston Bruins looking to add some more skill to their roster, a three player trade proposal has surfaced, and it could be in the works.
Currently, the Bruins have some good leaders with a lot of skill, including Pastrnak, and McAvoy, but they can't just rely on them to help the Bruins get back to the playoffs this upcoming season.
There is a chance that if the Bruins end up missing the playoffs once again, they could shift into a full on rebuild instead of a retool.
With Pastrnak and McAvoy still in their prime, this would be a terrible route for the Bruins to go down.
The Bruins blue line is nothing fancy, and has room to improve. Recently a new trade proposal has surfaced that would make them better.
Three player trade sees the Bruins acquiring a defenseman
Nestor Quixtan of Heavy.com proposed a trade between the Bruins and San Jose Sharks.
In the trade it would see the Bruins acquiring defenseman Mario Ferraro, while the San Jose Sharks would get Andrew Peeke, and Fabian Lysell in return.

He went on to explain why this trade makes sense for the Boston Bruins:
«In Ferraro, the Bruins get a 26-year-old blueliner who could play on the top-pairing with Charlie McAvoy. As a left-shot, he's the ideal complement to McAvoy, a right-shot. Ferraro is a solid defender who can also move the puck. That's something the Bruins cannot pass up.»
