One of the Boston Bruins top prospects in Dan Locmelis ended up revealing a private conversation he had with Sidney Crosby after he was approached following their game against each other.
The Boston Bruins' recently acquired Dan Locmelis made his way to this year's IIHF World Championship, which began on May 9, where he joined the Latvian National Team in Sweden and Denmark, and it has been announced that the young player received some unexpected appraisal by one of the NHL's best.
Sidney Crosby Praises Bruins Dan Lochmelis
The voice of Latvian Radio's sports news announced yesterday, Tuesday, May 13, that Sidney Crosby approached Dan Lochmelis and praised his performance.

Recently, the 21-year old Latvian forward has signed his three-year entry-level contract with the Boston Bruins after being drafted by the organization in the 2022 NHL Entry Level Draft. He has been outstanding at the international level with Latvia this season.
Even prior to the IIHF World Championship, Locmelis already begun making a name for himself, posting three goals and nine assists in just six regular-season games within the Boston Bruins' AHL team, the Providence Bruins.
It is evident this young forward has skill, and even the National Hockey League's best players are noting it.
