A new announcement has revealed that one of the Boston Bruins' top prospect's are set to depart from the organization this summer.
In a surprising development, Boston Bruins' top prospect, Dans Locmelis, is set to head overseas following the Providence Bruins' Calder Cup this weekend.
Since Locmelis signed a three-year entry-level contract with Boston on April 1 2025, he has undoubtedly made a name for himself within the AHL, posting three goals and nine assists, in just six regular-season games, it is evident the young forward has skill.
The 21-year old Latvian forward, the Bruins' 22nd, fourth-round pick (119th overall) in the 2022 season, has been a standout in his professional debut within the AHL's Providence Bruins.
A Boston reporter has revealed that the Bruins' Locmelis will be set to head overseas following this weekend.
