«Team Czechia got a boost to their repeat efforts for the 2025 IIHF World Championships. The Boston Bruins announced that star winger David Pastrňák and depth forward
Jakub Lauko would play for their native country during this year's rendition of the international competition.» McClain

This will be Pastrnak's sixth time participating in this tournament, as the forward usually joins Team Czechia relatively quickly following the Bruins' elimination in the playoffs, yet this year was a bit different.
Speculations were claiming the Bruins veteran was unsure of whether or not he was going to participate in this year's tournament, and there was a lot of indecisive comments by the forward as well as NHL insiders, revealing they were uncertain if Pastrnak was going to represent his country this season.
However, it has now been confirmed that Boston fans can expect their top-forward to be representing his country at the
2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship.
This is outstanding news for Team Czechia, as last year Pastrnak helped the team win the gold medal, tallying one goal in four contests, this will undoubtedly be beneficial for the tournament.
