The Boston Bruins have just announced that their fan-favourited forward, David Pastrnak, will be departing from the organization this summer.
Recent speculations and reports have suggested that Boston fans should prepare for their long-time veteran, David Pastrnak, to pack his bags and depart the organization this season, however, new insight has just confirmed these rumours.
David Pastrnak will be leaving the Boston Bruins this offseason to represent his country
Pastrnak as well as Jakob Lauko will both be pack there bags and make their way to Czech to represent their country in this year's IIHF World Championship, as per Brennan McClain from prohockeyrumours.com.
«Team Czechia got a boost to their repeat efforts for the 2025 IIHF World Championships. The Boston Bruins announced that star winger David Pastrňák and depth forward Jakub Lauko would play for their native country during this year's rendition of the international competition.» McClain wrote.
This will be Pastrnak's sixth time participating in this tournament, as the forward usually joins Team Czechia relatively quickly following the Bruins' elimination in the playoffs, yet this year was a bit different.
Speculations were claiming the Bruins veteran was unsure of whether or not he was going to participate in this year's tournament, and there was a lot of indecisive comments by the forward as well as NHL insiders, revealing they were uncertain if Pastrnak was going to represent his country this season.
