Insider reveals Boston Bruins superstar is expected to turn his back on the organization after a failed season

The Boston Bruins' 2025 season was a head-shaker and needless to say, an absolute mess, the team's management proved to the organization that they are willing to do anything, including trading off their 16-year veteran, Brad Marchand, to move towards their re-build.

Yet, despite the organization's intentions, the Bruins completed their regular season in 10th place in the Eastern Conference Wild Card, with a record of 33-39-10, which evidently proves their moves this year have been nothing but detrimental towards their future success.

However, a new report has been announced by an NHL insider, revealing that the Boston Bruins organization is suggested to trade off another veteran this offseason.

Although Bruins fans would be absolutely destroyed to lose yet another veteran, this may just be the direction the organization is leaning towards, and David Pastrnak may just be on board.

Boston has shown what they are willing to sacrifice after trading off Brad Marchand, and in their eyes, acquiring young Gavin McKenna for David Pastrnak may just be the smartest move.

Meanwhile, Pastrnak may not want to stick around for this long-term re-build, and he has the skill and abilities that many organization's are in search for.

Regardless of what happens this summer, Boston Bruins fans can expect a busy offseason.
