Joe Sacco Might Have Just Issued His Last Statement As Head Coach of The Boston Bruins

For the past eight years, the Boston Bruins have been buyers at the NHL trade deadline, but this year saw them take a different path.

Don Sweeney, and the Bruins organization decided to go the path of being sellers at the trade deadline, and Don Sweeney went complete fire sale mode.

Because of that, the Boston Bruins ended up finishing off the season as one of the worst teams in the league, despite fighting for a wildcard spot for most of the year, and ultimately missing the playoffs

Early on in the season, the Bruins ended up firing head coach Jim Montgomery, and hired Joe Sacco as the interim head coach of the organization.

The Bruins never gave Sacco the actual title of being "head coach" of the organization, and he might have just issued his last statement as interim head coach for the Bruins.

The Boston Bruins aren't sure what they are going to do with their open head coaching position, but it was revealed that Joe Sacco could be a candidate for the role.

In the off-season they are going to look at all their options and decide from there, but if Sacco is not given the head coach role, then he might have just had his last statement with the organization.

Sacco stated that he is grateful for the opportunity, especially being from this area, and that it was special to have the opportunity he had. He also stated that he is proud of the players, and that they gave it their all right up until the end. take a look:
