Boston Bruin fan-favourite forward reportedly set to leave the organization following recent announcement

The 25-year old forward, Jakub Lauko, signed with the Boston Bruins organization in the 2018 NHL draft in the 3rd-round (15th pick, 77th overall), and spent his first NHL year with the team in the 2022/23 season.

Lauko quickly became a fan-favourite, and has racked up 139 games within his career thus far, accumulating 11 goals, 17 assists and 28 points, with a plus/minus of -14.

He has served as a glue-piece to the fourth line and has also had a whirland of events while playing for the Bruins, enduring a scary injury which resulted in plenty of stitches and a long-term absence.

However, it has just been revealed in a recent announcement that the 25-year old will departing from Boston

It's big news for Lauko who's been involved in a trade and also a major turn around with the Boston Bruins organization.

Off-seasons are crucial for these pro athletes to reset mentally and physically to prepare for the next season.

We can only hope Don Sweeney does the same resetting for the current Bruins roster, to provide support to Lauko and teammates including David Pastrnak.
