It was just revealed that former Boston Bruins defenseman
Alec Regula has signed a new two-year, two-way contract extension with the Edmonton Oilers.
His contract is only going to begin with the Oilers during the 2025-26 season, and will have a average value of $775,000 at the National Hockey League level.
Boston Bruins Lost Regula
Regula ended up appearing in 55 games for the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League during the 2023-24 season where he had four goals, 22 assists for 26 points while being a plus-36 rating.

Regula was originally drafted by the Detroit Red Wings with the 67th overall pick during the 2018 NHL Entry Level Draft.
He only has played in 22 career NHL games in three seasons where he has one goal, 28 hits, 32 blocks and is a minus-5.
