Mitch Marner to the Boston Bruins? A major development has surfaced in the Bruins acquiring Leafs top star

For months there has been speculations and rumours looming around the Boston Bruins acquiring the Toronto Maple Leafs' key-forward, Mitch Marner, and after new insight, it's looking more probable that Bruins fans can expect this star to make his way to Boston.

Paul Bissonnette, a former NHL player, announced this week on the Pat McAfee Show that there is a very reasonable chance that Mitch Marner will leave this summer in free agency due to bad blood within his organization.

Paul Bissonnette stating there is 'hostility' between pending UFA Mitch Marner and team management, suggesting the forward is on his way out of Toronto:

Back in March following the NHL Trade Deadline, the Maple Leafs' general manager, Brad Treliving, was offered superstar winger Mikko Rantanen by the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for Marner.

Contract talks with the Leafs' winger were at a standstill-still, so Treliving approached Marner, and, while telling him that their priority was to sign him, that if he didn't think he would sign, would he accept this trade?

Marner eventually declined to waive his no-trade clause, saying he wanted to stay in Toronto.

This has created an immense amount of rumours due to the fact Toronto was seemingly fine with Marner departing if it meant the organization could acquire Rantanen, despite him coming off his best regular season with 102 points.

With Marchand and several others out the door, it could very well lighten the heart of Bruins fans if Marner is seen heading to Boston.
