Former Boston Bruins Fan Favourite Trent Frederic Revealed His True Colours Towards The Bruins Organization

After being traded by the Boston Bruins to the Edmonton Oilers during the NHL trade deadline, former fan favourite Trent Frederic has recently revealed his true colours towards the Bruins organization.
Nothing went to play for the Oilers after acquiring Frederic at the trade deadline. When he finally made his first appearance with the team, he re-injured himself in his first game back.
He returned for the playoffs, and after game one there was some speculation that he may be a healthy scratch, but has since found his game.
During the first-round of the playoffs, Frederic opened up about being set to be a free agent, and revealed his true colours towards the Bruins organization.

Frederic needs to make a name for himself during the playoffs with the Edmonton Oilers as he is set to be a free agent. He could earn himself a pay raise if he has a solid run with the Oilers.
Before he ended up playing his first game with the Oilers, Frederic stated he felt like he was in hockey heaven
With the salary cap expected to raise over the next couple of seasons, there is a chance that teams will be able to pay more for the services of Frederic than the Oilers, but after his recent comments, it seems like he wants to stay where he is.
Some team may be willing to pay me $4M. And Edmonton's only gonna pay 3.5. But if I play 3 years in Edmonton, and I'll have an opportunity to play with Draisaitl and McDavid if I play well, I'm not getting that opportunity [elsewhere].

Frederic helped the Oilers beat the L.A. Kings for the fourth straight year to make it back into the second-round.
