Ex-Boston Bruins coach Mike Sullivan officially hired as head coach

Yesterday, Mike Sullivan was reportedly close to being hired as a head coach, well now it was just made official following a recent announcement.
Multiple reports revealed that Mike Sullivan was the top coaching option for the Boston Bruins, but several insiders suggested that Sullivan's top desitionation was the New York Rangers.
«I've gotten messages from NHL general managers already this morning saying 'Does Mike Sullivan end up in New York today or tomorrow?' I think it is one of those things that could be locked up within the next 42 to 78 hours,»
Elliotte Friedman also went on to state that it would be hard for any team to outdo the Rangers in conversations with
Sullivan:
«I cannot imagine [the New York Rangers] allowing anyone to outdo themselves in the pursuit of Sullivan,»
Mike Sullivan Officially Hired
After all the speculation, it was revealed today that Mike Sullivan has officially been hired by the New York Rangers.

With this, the Boston Bruins will still have to search for their next head coach, after their top candidate for the job was just taken off the board.
