Brad Marchand appeared on NHL on TNT on Wednesday night as he was named the first ever recipient of a new prestigious award.
The entertaining NHL on TNT panel consisting of former players such as Paul Bissonnette, Anson Carter, Keith Yandle and even Wayne Gretzky, revealed a brand new trophy for one deserving player this season.
''Mr. TNT'' is clearly an award for the players like Marchand who bring a unique personality to the game, on and most importantly, off the ice.
Despite not one prepared, the Bruins winger rattled off quite the impressive thank you speech off the top of his head. Highlight by one classic Marchand-like quote:
''I gotta thank the lord and savior from above for giving me a dynamite stick.''
