Brad Marchand Calls For Reporters Job Who Started The Rumour Surrounding An Altercation With Pastrnak
Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand called for the reporters job who started the rumour about an altercation with David Pastrnak in the Bruins locker room.
A rumour was started on Friday from a radio host that stated David Pastrnak has become a problem in the Boston Bruins locker room this season, and he is refusing to play on a line with Bruins captain Brad Marchand.
Following practice David Pastrnak completely shut down this rumour and stated that he would never say anything like that about Marchand and that he loved him, take a look:
David Pastrnak: «I've never in my life said I don't want to play with this guy to the coaching staff or management and I never would. I love playing with Marchy. I've been playing with him for so long.» #Bruins
Now Brad Marchand has spoken out, and he is not happy with the rumour that was started. Brad Marchand following practice spoke with the media, and called for the guys job who started this rumour.
"It's unfortunate. I know reporters have a job to do. That job is to report on the team and, usually, you try to be fact-based. But when there's just blatant lies told in the media. That's where there's a problem. The fact that this guy has a platform, and he's just making stuff up, is embarrassing.
There's zero truth to what he said on the radio. This is how you lose your job very quickly. The fact that he's going to have a job after this is insane."

"The locker room is a disaster, and David Pastrnak is at the center of that. David Pastrnak has told the team he doesn't want to be on a line with Brad Marchand, and it may stem from Brad Marchand calling out Pastrnak for some of his play."
