The Boston Bruins have two goals tonight: win their record-breaking 63rd game of the season, and rest their veterans before the playoffs.
Bruins to Be Without SIX Regulars Tonight
With the lineup officially announced for tonight's game against the Flyers, six regulars will officially be scratched.
Bruins lineup in Philly. No Bergeron, Krejci, McAvoy ("not feeling his best"), Hall, Orlov (back) or Ullmark (lower body).
Bergeron and Krecji will both take their well-deserved rest, while McAvoy, Hall, Orlov, and Ullmark will all continue to recover from minor injuries.
Thus, this is the lineup the Bruins will be going with:
Marchand-Coyle-DeBrusk
Bertuzzi-Zacha-Pastrnak
Lauko-Frederic-Lettieri
Greer-Nosek-Hathaway
Lindholm-Carlo
Grzelcyk-Carrick
Zboril-Clifton
Swayman
Bussi
Head coach Montgomery did confirm that all players should be healthy for Game 1 except for
Nick Foligno and Derick Forbort.
Hopefully this deserved rest will fuel the B's to a Stanley Cup!
