Charlie McAvoy speaks on a big opportunity to dress for another team this season

Boston Bruins top defenseman, Charlie McAvoy recently spoke out on his opportunity to dress for another team this year, in Team USA at the Olympics.
The 2026 Winter Olympics is going to come super quick, and Charlie McAvoy is eager to get a chance to represent his country.
McAvoy already named to Team USA
Charlie McAvoy was one of the first six players to already be named to Team USA's Olympic roster.
Although the focus right now is on the Boston Bruins season, McAvoy is eager to dress for Team USA, and represent his country on the biggest stage.
«The Olympics are as big as it gets in sports,» McAvoy said to Olympics.com and Olympic Broadcasting Services. «It's going to be incredible, and it will be a lifelong dream come true.
«Everything from living in a village to the Games themselves - there are so many things that exist in the Olympics that don't exist anywhere else, which make it what it is and make it as special as it is,» McAvoy added. «What a dream come true to be able to go to Milan Cortina 2026 - it doesn't get any bigger.»

McAvoy ended up representing Team USA during the 4 Nations Face-Off, but was injured during the tournament and it caused him to miss the remainder of the season.
After being injured in the tournament, McAvoy had to watch Team USA lose to Team Canada in the finals.
He stated that he plans to use this as motivation to help his team win an Olympic Gold Medal.
«You can expect Team USA to have an extremely competitive team - we're going to be really fast and skilled. We're going over there to win a Gold Medal.»
Charlie McAvoy will dress for Team USA in Milano Santagiulia from February 5th to the 22nd in Milan.
