During the players media availability today, Boston Bruins superstar David Pastrnak spoke out on possibly taking over as captain for the organization next year.

There were multiple rumours leading up to the NHL trade deadline that Brad Marchand was going to get traded, but little did anyone thing Marchand was going to be traded to the Florida Panthers, one of their biggest rivals.
With the Bruins officially trading their captain, it was revealed that they would not be naming another one until next year, and there has been some rumours on who it could be.
Now, David Pastrnak has spoken out on the possibility of taking over as captain of the organization next year.

During the end of season players media availability, David Pastrnak was asked about potentially wearing the "C" on his jersey next year, and this is what he had to say:

"Everybody in the room is equal here. ... It's not about one guy. It's going to be [many] of us, and we need to be working together."
