Training camps have begun, and the Boston Bruins are no different. Jim Montgomery would explain today was a maintenance day for the biggest free agent signing during the off-season.
Pastrnak wouldn't pull punches while being interviewed by the media.
"It was good," Pastrnak told reporters of his first day practicing with Lindholm, per the Bruins. "Maybe he wasn't used to the Czech pace. That's why he needed the day off (Friday). It was fun. We had some good looks. I don't think there will be any problem finding chemistry with Lindy. He's very smart and has a very high hockey IQ. It was one practice, but like I said, I don't think there will be any problem finding chemistry."
Lindholm, despite the jab from his new teammate, should give the Bruins an elite option on the power play.
Playing on the same line as David Pastrnak should see him return to his production from the 2021-2022 season, with the Calgary Flames where he scored 82 points( 42 G, 40 A) as a point-per-game player.
With Lindholm missing practice, his spot was filled by Matthew Poitras, flanked by David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha.
