Eigth notable Boston Bruins players missing from first practice of the year

With the Boston Bruins hosting their first on ice practice of the season today, eight notable players were missing following a report.
Today was the first day of the Boston Bruins captain's practice, where a lot of players from Providence and the Bruins were in attendance.
Both goaltenders in Jeremy Swayman, and Joonas Korpisalo were present for the first on ice practice, along with one of their recently acquired players in Viktor Arvidsson.

Some notable players were missing from practice today
Early reports ended up revealing that Fabian Lysell was missing from today's practice at Warrior Ice, but a new report revealed that seven other notable players were missing.
Along with Lysell, other notable players like Hampus Lindholm, Lohrei, Elias Lindholm, Mittelstadt, Poitras, Kastelic, and Kuraly were also missing.

Similar to Fabian Lysell, it's unclear why all these players ended up missing the first day of the captain's practice.
