Ex-Boston Bruin Milan Lucic begins trending once again following a statement by his wife

In 2023, the Boston Bruins brought fan favourite Milan Lucic back into the organization for his second tenure with the team signing him as a free agent.
Lucic ended up playing just four games with the Boston Bruins before being arrested following an incident with his wife, Brittany Lucic.
After the arrest, details of what happened leading up to it were revealed to the public, and it seemed like Lucic was never going to make it back to the NHL as he was going down a bad path.
That was until this past weekend.
Lucic's wife shares an update on Milan
Last Sunday, Brittany took to social media to reveal that Lucic has sobered up, and reflected on his resilience:

The former Stanley Cup champion openly admitted that he was battling with addiction, and after pleading not guilty, he entered the NHL / NHLPA Assistance Program to get help with his issues.
Leading up to the 2024-25 season, there were a lot of rumors surrounding Lucic returning back to the NHL, but it never happened.
There is still a good chance that the 37-year-old could try and make a return for the 2025-26 season.
What a story this is, and congratulations to Lucic for getting sober and being the father he needs to be to his wife, and three kids.
