the Carolina Hurricanes have re-sign former Boston Bruins fan favourite forward Taylor Hall to a three-year extension.

The #Canes have signed forward Taylor Hall to a three-year contract extension ✍️
There were a lot of rumours this season that Taylor Hall was more than likely going to be traded by the Chicago Blackhawks.
With that, a lot of rumours also suggested that the Boston Bruins could be interested in bringing him back, but instead were sellers during the trade deadline.
The Carolina Hurricanes acquired Taylor Hall from the Chicago Blackhawks in a insane three-team trade that saw Mikko Rantanen also get traded to the Hurricanes.
After announcing the signing, this is what GM Eric Tulsky had to say about Taylor Hall:
«Taylor has proven to be an outstanding fit for our team, and we are thrilled that he is excited to make Raleigh his home for another three seasons,» said Tulsky. «He's been a solid veteran presence in the locker room and a difference maker on the ice.»
