Former Boston Bruins Forward Hit With Heartbreaking News During Final Stretch Of Regular Season
A former Boston Bruins forward was just hit with some heartbreaking news as the NHL regular season is coming to an end.
Noel Acciari went undrafted and signed his first NHL contract with the Boston Bruins back in 2015-16.
He would go on to play four seasons with the Boston Bruins organization, mainly in a depth roll, before he would leave the organization.
During the off-season of the 2019-20 season, Noel Acciari ended up leaving the Boston Bruins and signing with the Florida Panthers.
He would then go on to play three seasons with the Panthers, before leaving to join the St. Louis Blues, and then joined the Toronto Maple Leafs.
After playing one year in Toronto, Acciari ended up signing with the Pittsburgh Penguins, earning himself a
three year, $6 million contract, but he was just hit with some heartbreaking news.
Ex-Boston Bruins Forward Hit With Heartbreaking News
It was just announced that Noel Acciari is going to miss the remainder of the season with a injury after an announcement from the Pittsburgh Penguins confirmed it.
Acciari has yet to miss a game this season, appearing in all 79 games for the Pittsburgh Penguins, scoring five goals, seven assists for 12 points, he also had 100 blocks along with 180 hits.
It has not been revealed on what happened with Acciari, just that he will not play another game this season.
