The Boston Bruins are preparing to take on the Washington Capitals tomorrow, and will be looking to snap a eight game losing streak, but some game changing news has surfaced that could affect the Bruins chances at winning.

Ever since the NHL trade deadline the Boston Bruins have been one of the worst teams in the league. Their first two games they ended up showing some life after they beat the Tampa Bay Lightning, and the Florida Panthers.
Since then though, they have come back down to life. The Bruins have not won a game since their win against the Panthers on March 11th, and have dropped eight straight games.
The Bruins have also lost some very winnable games against some bottom feeder teams like the San Jose Sharks, Anaheim Ducks, and Buffalo Sabres.
Now they are set to face one of the best teams in the league, and a recent announcement revealed they are in for some trouble.

Game Changing News

Today it was announced that the Washington Capitals have signed their top prospect Ryan Leonard to his entry level contract, signing a three year deal worth $950,000.
With that announcement, it was also revealed that the Capitals plan on having him make his debut tomorrow when they take on the Boston Bruins.
Sounds like Ryan Leonard will be signing with the #ALLCAPS today and is likely to make his NHL debut tomorrow vs the Bruins in Boston.
Leonard, drafted 8th overall in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft by the Washington Capitals is one of the most highly touted prospects in the NHL right now and recently won the Hobey Baker Memorial Award which is presented to the top NCAA men's hockey player.
Yesterday Leonard's season came to an end with Boston College, prompting him to sign his entry-level deal, and he finished his season with 30 goals, 19 assists for 49 points in 37 games.
The Boston Bruins already had a tough game on their hands in facing the Washington Capitals, and it just got even tougher for them, but they will still look to end their 8-game losing skid.
